Meet the Team
Below are brief biographies of our staff so you can put a face to the name.
Founder & Teacher
Dr David Bromiley
Crouton Education and Training Ltd. is led by our Director Dr. David Bromiley.
David has worked in Secondary and Higher education for more than 20 years. He spent 12 years within mainstream Secondary schools, culminating in two years as an Associate Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Humanities and Personal Development. He led on the complete redesign of whole-school curriculums for Geography, History and Religious Studies and consistently raised attainment across all exam cohorts
David has developed an approach to curriculum and lesson design that puts individual learners at the centre, with activities built around them, based on their interests, that both builds engagement and satisfy all of the criteria of exam specifications and the British National Curriculum. He also has experience of working for Edexcel as a GCSE Examiner.
Over the last two years David has worked extensively as a Private Tutor, principally within the fields of exam preparation and SEND education. This had led to opportunities to work with children all over the world, but also to support a number of children with complex needs on EOTAS packages
